American Sign
Language Practicum

Community-based fieldwork externships for graduate students of the health sciences and human services fields.

Why Babble·ASL

Closing the placement gap.

The Placement Gap

Graduates face a persistent shortage of quality fieldwork placements.

3,000 Fieldwork Practicum Hours

Demand for practicum and externship hours outpaces available community sites.

Structured Supervision

Students need supervised, real-world hours that map directly to licensure requirements.

Pediatric Placements & Non-Clinical Leadership

Babble·ASL is one of the few providers offering early-childhood and neurodivergent-population, alternative language integration as functional communication training.

Who We Are

Early development and special education enrichment.

Babble-ASL is a premium children's enrichment platform embedded in New York's family-centric neighborhoods. We use interdisciplinary pedagogy and American Sign Language to advance communication, language development, and early behavioral health for babies through kindergarten, including ASD-inclusive programming.

Weekly sessions run in pediatric practices, schools, libraries, community centers, wellness centers, and behavioral clinics. Externs step into a live, multi-site field environment from day one.
